In 1973 Sunburst released the 45 « Reward » by Melvin Bliss.
The B-side, « Synthetic substitution », featured percussion from iconic drummer « Pretty » Purdie.
The funky beat on the intro has since became the backbone for a mind-blowing bevy of Hip Hop classics.
